2 Chaat Chutney Recipes | Mint Chutney & Sweet Chutney | Green Chutney & Dates Tamarind Chutney

Mint Chutney:


  • 1- inch ginger

  • 5 green chillies

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp amchoor powder

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 bunch coriander

  • 1 1/2 cup mint leaves

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • Water As required


Method:


In a blender add the above ingredients and blend smooth.


Sweet Chutney:


  • ½ cup seedless dates | khajoor

  • 3 tbsp tamarind | imli

  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

  • 1/2 - inch ginger

  • 1 tbsp jaggery

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 /2 cup water ( more if required)


Method:


  1. In a blender add the above ingredients and blend smooth.

  2. Boil and simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Then allow the mixture to cool completely and store that ina airtight container.

  4. Use the prepared mint chutney and sweet chutney for chaats.
